The best part of my job is to work and collaborate on creative events such as today! We had the pleasure to host the MGM Convention Sales Kick Off and welcome our colleagues from the Las Vegas MGM Properties. #youhavetobehere

Behind the scenes of LNY Gala. 6 Course Plated dinner for 2400 guests.

I often get asked what do I do, as Banquets in Las Vegas is its own entity compared to everywhere else around the world. The scales are bigger, the groups are bigger and the events are bigger. You do multiple daily events for 50 people to 2000 people and above; week in and week out.
The best way to describe it is: wedding planner on steroids. Banquets is the Operations department handling all Food & Beverages and Meetings for all convention groups.
Under the umbrella of Banquets you have: Services ( Servers, Bartenders), Set Up ( porters who set up all meetings), Culinary and Pastry ( the food component), and Stewarding ( the staff who handles all our equipment). Every event is a collaboration, and it is always about the preparation.
