THE RUBBER TEETH TALK WITH FRIENDS by @daisythegreatband came out a week ago and i had the Time O My Life making the leadoff track ‘Dog’ with Mina, Kelley, and superproducer Greta. Reimagining an old song/recording is really fun when you do it with such open minded collaborators … we laughed a lot and made dumbass jokes and ate well and marveled at Mina and Kelley’s vocal skills and kinda just hung out. It was a great few days, sweet to work with old friends and to make new ones — thanks for having me aboard. Go listen to the whole album, an awesome idea executed beautifully 🌞 scroll for pooh IN FACT drop #pooh in the comments for +9 instagram points

@frankiecombos produced and played instruments and sang
@kelleynicoledugan and @mina_walker played instruments and sang and wrote the dang thing

A few frames from the very first @inthesetimesmag workshop on “Antifascist Storytelling for a New Democracy” … Really honored by how many folks came out to offer their thoughts about how storytelling can best meet the moment and to show their support for ITT.

Wowowowow I got to co-produce & play & sing with the mind-blowing Daisy The Great! We re-arranged their song Dog for their new deluxe album. I had sooo much fun working on this for a few days, it felt like being on a little tour together. Grateful for the incredible team who joined us on this recording: Gabe Smith on drums, Ginger Dolden & Pete Lanctot on violins, and Nate Mendelsohn on engineering, mixing, co-producing, and saxophone.
Kelley & Mina, thank you for trusting me and being so game to mess around with an already perfect song!!

31 was a big year, so here’s a photo dump. Rachel got married, I moved apartment, finished multiple projects at work, got to travel and embraced new nerd hobbies. Definitely not the easiest year, but riding the ups and downs with my amazing family and friends made it pretty damn sweet.

32 brings my 10 year anniversary of moving to NYC and who knows what else, so here’s to 32!
