Iole is such a wonderful person — spending the day with her, driving around in her little Fiat, was truly unforgettable. 🇮🇹 My trip to Gaeta wasn’t just beautiful because of the place itself, but because I got to experience it with her. Thanks to Iole, Gaeta became the most beautiful and memorable place I’ve ever seen in Italy. Her warmth, her stories, and her laughter made it feel like more than just a visit, it felt like being welcomed into something real and meaningful. 💫 If you’re ever in Gaeta, don’t miss the chance to book a tour with Iole @gaetavolverbb 🫶

#italianlanguageimmersions #italianfood #italianlanguageholiday #languageadventure #italianculture #carbonara

" It's really hard to decide what I enjoyed the most of the Retreat. But, If I had to pick one thing, I think it would be meal times and the time we spent eating. During these times all of us were together and we were able to have many spontaneous conversations as a larger group and hear different experiences and perspectives from everyone. It gave us an opportunity to learn about each other and talk about ourselves. I found that these were the times we chatted the most, and it gave me the best opportunity to practice my Italian in front of everyone, or most people. We also had so much fun ordering and sharing food, experiencing a wide variety of food and drinks, and of course drinking wine. In these moments I felt like we all opened up and became comfortable with each other. I felt like we had seen so much of the beautiful town and I had also gotten to know my fellow retreat participants so well, so it was perfect to spend the last night doing what Italians do best: Eating, drinking, laughing, and just being together." " These are the words of Ginevra, who joined the Retreat in May. The May group built an incredible bond in less than 24 hours We were so connected that when we ordered food at restaurants, we all wanted to share with the rest of the group whatever we were eating. That's how comfortable we were with each other. That's what Italians do all the time and you can learn to do it too. Do you want to connect over food and just be together? I'm opening registrations for the 2024 Retreats. Sign up to be the first to nab the early-bird by joining the waiting list at the link in my bio. #languageimmersionprogram #italianimmersion #learnitalianinitaly #studyitalianinitaly #italianlanguageschools
