Just start. ❤️

At 22, I took my first dance classes.
Then COVID hit.
I started again.
Then my knees got in the way.
And once again, I found my way back to dance.

Looking back, I’m so grateful I never gave up. Because if I had never started, I wouldn’t be here today, dancing (literally anywhere) in Colombia. 🇨🇴💃🏽

Dance follows me everywhere I go and gives me a way to connect with people — even with shop mannequins who have a loose arms. 😂💃

A little reminder that it’s never too late to start something that makes you feel alive. You never know where it might take you.

Gracias Colombia! 🇨🇴

Looking back at this moment, I feel so proud of how far I had come after just 9 months of dancing (in this video)🥹❤️

It’s crazy to see how much I had already grown, not just in my dancing, but also in my confidence, my ability to let go, trust, and simply enjoy the connection.

I still remember the very first time I danced with @gagan_dabole and how much I enjoyed it. And honestly, that feeling hasn’t changed. 🥰

Every dance with him is such a joy. The connection, the musicality, the way he leads and makes you feel comfortable enough to just be yourself and enjoy the moment.

He’s definitely one of my absolute favorite leaders in Berlin, and I’m always happy when we get to share another dance. 🫶🏼✨

So grateful for this journey, the progress, and all the beautiful people I get to meet along the way. ❤️

Some people you just meet completely by accident… and I’m so glad I did. ✨

Met @gagan_dabole at a random outdoor social in Poland, only to find out we were both going to Tunisia a week later. And I’m so happy our paths crossed again there. 🫶🏼

This one was Monday morning, after 5 days of barely sleeping, basically dancing full-time, already checked out of the hotel after maybe 2 hours of sleep 😂 and one of my very last dances of the festival.

But I really wanted at least one video with you. 🤍

Not only such a lovely dancer, but genuinely such a warm and kind person. Really grateful our paths crossed.

See you in Germany… or somewhere else in this crazy little dance world. 🌍💃🏽✨

Bachata Tourism is thing now and @bachaturo_festival is the biggest promoter of that. 24 hours of travel time all the way from Australia was totally worth this madness.

Thanks to @mylord_made and @sajana.asel for being the amazing travel buddies.

Met some amazing people at the festival who are extremely special to me now @patrzesobietylko @katarzyna999 @irene.zaiets @kersuliii @vaidakasmauskaite @huntigrey @lisa.sigalotti @helena_latindance @kumaranurag21 @hari_bachata @gagan_dabole @sri.k.anth @bindaas_dj

Definitely keen to go back next year.
