Season highlight: Supreme Spring Summer 2019 Collection Following the release of the highly anticipated BLESSED Film in November of 2018 & team rider Tyshawn Jones winning Thrasher Skater of The Year (SOTY) following the video, Supreme came out swinging in February of 2019. The collection features nodds to the brands history (particularly in the Classic Ad Hoodie picturing the original Skate team at the original shop on Lafayette Street), madras prints, patchwork techniques, lightweight cottons, hiphop & movie references/motifs in ODB & Dracula, plaids, jacquard prints, interesting accessories, & hard goods ofc. (Lookbook modeled by Sean Pablo, photographed by hannamoon69) SS19 is probably my favorite collection, the peak of the “older” Supreme if you will. A time when the skate team was primarily 917 & Fucking Awesome affiliated riders with great chemistry off & on the board. A time when the brand had seamless cohesion. If you read this I hope it gave you a glimpse into the feeling of SS19, Peter Gibbons.
