Y a @baris_dogrusoz @hasson7872 @amb.alkuwari @zeinaarida , Yousef, @fouachio: It was a pleasure to welcome you and spend time together here at the southern edge of the world.

As we approach our one year anniversary, we are proud to be included in the Michelin guide and broaden our reach in showcasing flavours from the Andean South.

From starting as an idea sipping pisco sours in Chile, the journey has involved the effort of hundreds - from artisans and winemakers, to designers and farmers.

We thank everyone for dedicating their time and effort in bringing part of their world to London, the incredible kitchen team for crafting a menu that represents this and front of house for delivering the experience.

Women Writing Architecture 1700–1900
Expanding Histories

From India to Chile and Britain to Senegal, #women have influenced #architecture for centuries by exerting power over space through their #writing. By exploring a wide variety of sources, from diaries and travelogues to inventories and political pamphlets, this publication expands #historiesofarchitecture to include these women. The contributing authors reveal female spatial agencies using rare written sources, novel methodologies, and in-depth re-readings of canonical histories. Housewives, princesses, novelists, travellers, nurses – writing as clients, users, or critics – are all relevant voices for understanding the past of the built environment. Examining specific spaces such as churches, homes, gardens, boulevards, kitchens, or shacks, this book proposes a novel take on feminist historiographies.
