Meet the Noir et Rosé Experience Team: Cquer @cquermusic 🎶

When you charter an entire ship, you get to do things differently.

And when I imagined the evenings aboard Noir et Rosé, I knew the music had to feel like us.

That’s where Cquer comes in.

He’s not just a DJ—he’s a musical curator. From soulful house and R&B to world beats and those unexpected tracks that make you stop and ask, “Wait…who IS this?” 😂

Cquer will help create the soundtrack for our time in Bordeaux—from the vibe before dinner to the nights when nobody is quite ready to go to bed.

Because after a day of wine tasting and exploring Bordeaux, sometimes you just need great music, a glass in your hand and a dance floor. 🥂🎶

Meet the Noir et Rosé Experience Team: Mike Jordan 🥂 @mikejordanatl

When you charter an entire ship, you get to do things differently.

So what exactly is a Master of Moments? It’s the person who knows when there’s a conversation worth having, a story worth pulling out—or when it’s time to stop talking and get the party going. 😂

That’s why I chose Mike Jordan.

Mike is a gifted journalist with an uncanny ability to get to the heart of a subject. He’s smart, funny, curious and quick with the kind of spot-on commentary that can turn a casual conversation into one everybody wants to join.

As our Master of Moments, Mike will help guide us through the onboard experience—introducing activities, setting the tone, drawing out the interesting conversations and personalities, and keeping the energy flowing from one experience to the next.

Because some of the best travel memories aren’t on the itinerary. They’re the moments that just happen.

And Mike is there to make sure we have plenty of them. 🥂

Meet the Noir et Rosé Experience Team: @vinxmusic 🎶🍷

When you charter an entire ship, you get to do things differently.

And one of the experiences I’m most excited about is something you’re definitely not going to find on a typical river cruise.

That’s why I chose Vinx.

Vinx is an extraordinary vocalist, percussionist, songwriter and improvisational artist who has performed and recorded with legends including Stevie Wonder, Sting, Herbie Hancock, Sheryl Crow, Branford Marsalis and Taj Mahal.

But what really fascinates me about Vinx is the way he creates music in the moment. As he says, “The moment is where the magic hides.”

So we’re going to put that creativity together with another member of our Experience Team, James Beard Award-winning sommelier Lee Campbell, for something created especially for Noir et Rosé.

Lee will curate the wines. We’ll taste each one together. And Vinx will listen to what the wine says to him—and play what he feels that wine sounds like. 🍷🎶

Wine becoming music.

No set playlist. No rehearsed soundtrack. Just the flavors in the glass, Vinx’s imagination, and whatever happens in that room with all of us experiencing it together.

That’s the kind of moment I imagined when I decided to charter the entire ship. Not just entertainment, but experiences we could make our own.

And I cannot WAIT to see what Bordeaux sounds like.

When a client gives me a destination, I don’t just create the experience for them — I immerse myself in it. 🌎✨

That’s exactly what I did in Peru.

From the magic of Machu Picchu to the culture of Cusco, the beauty of the Sacred Valley, the colors of the local markets, the flavors of Peruvian cuisine, and the energy of places like Lima and Aguas Calientes — Peru is a destination you don’t just visit, you feel.

At Spanning The Globe Travel, I believe travel should be more than checking a place off your list. It should help you see, taste, touch, and connect with the culture in a meaningful way.

So tell me…

What culture do you want to immerse yourself in next? Let’s talk and make it happen. ✈️

Travel has always been personal for me. ✨

It started authentically, with one trip to Paris. I still remember coming out of the train station, seeing Paris for the first time, and feeling completely in awe. That moment changed something in me.

From there, I knew more people of color needed to have these experiences. We deserve to see the world, feel welcomed in beautiful places, and know that this whole world belongs to us too.

That passion is what led me to create Noir et Rosé: The Bordeaux Experience. 🍷🇫🇷

This is more than a trip. It’s an invitation to explore, connect, celebrate, and experience Bordeaux through a different lens — with culture, community, and joy at the center.

You are a citizen of the world. Come experience it with us. Learn more by signing up for the newsletter through the link https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sl/ltfPPgH/NoirEtRose

Martha’s Vineyard, I’d love to see you there. ✨

I’ll be joining AmaWaterways on Wednesday, August 12 at 3 PM at The Vineyard Lounge for a special conversation about luxury, culture, connection, and the power of travel to reconnect us with our roots.

I’ll be talking about something I truly love: creating luxury travel experiences that celebrate culture, connection, and community.

If you’ll be in Martha’s Vineyard, come out, join the conversation, enjoy bites from Chef Ting, and connect with us.

Hope to see you there! 🥂

If you’ve been wondering, “Why Noir et Rosé?” — let me tell you. 🍷✨

After more than 20 years of creating travel experiences around the world, I’ve learned something important.

Yes, people remember the destination.
They remember the hotel.
They remember the food, the wine, and the beautiful places they visited.

But what they remember most is how they felt.

That’s why Noir et Rosé was created.

This isn’t just a trip to Bordeaux. It’s an entire experience designed around music, wine, culture, connection, and community. It’s for the people who want to do something extraordinary, meet amazing people, and come home with stories they’ll be telling for years.

Because if you’ve traveled with me before, you already know — people arrive as strangers and leave as friends.

Cabins are already selling, and space is limited. Once this ship is full, it’s full.
