Hey everyone (yes that includes you 😉), with your support this could be on a billboard in Los Angeles 😊! This is my submission for the third billboard design contest by @buybackourattention

My design is a figure blowing colorful leaves/petals from the palm of their hand and watching them disperse, surrounding the phrase "What else could go right?". It is inspired by memories of being a child and feeling like anything is possible. I spent a lot of time as a kid living in the illustrations of childrens' books, and when I use this colorful illustrative style it takes me right back.

$CELEBRATION POST! 🎉🎉🎉 May 1st, 2021 - 270 days (9 months) ago, I was in a collision that yielded me a fractured left humerus (shoulder bone) + dislocated shoulder. 💥😭💥 The subsequent immediate pain- and for the following 5-6 months was excruciating, to say the least. I didn’t know if or how I would recover - the thought of losing function of my shoulder was a mixture of depressing and frightening. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Over the next 9 months (including these days) I was diligent about going to physical therapy and doing the exercises prescribed by the amazing humans at @madetomovept. I am so so grateful for them. Nowadays, I’m back to shooting hoops (my first love), doing my daily 200 push-ups (thank you @gainsforgood for keeping accountable for doing them- today is day 410) with about 95% healed. I’m still going to PT to get that last 5% back (and more!) 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 My MAJOR takeaway from this ordeal is this: 🗣🗣🗣 MAKE THE TIME to tend to your physical body- whether it be going to the gym, stretching daily, going to PT for that nagging injury, getting that massage, or even using that @theragun at home. It’s the only vehicle you have in this lifetime. Treat it like a Lamborghini. You’ll be happy you did, and you know it! 🏎🏎🏎 Feeling empowered to move freely, to run, to jump, swim, skate, snowboard, dance and PLAY, is one of my GREATEST joys in life. Maybe it’s one of yours too. 🏄🚴🏼‍♀️🤸🏼 MAKE THE TIME to tend to your body. Everyday.
