🍂Happy 1st day of fall🍂 The weather is so amazing right now, but I’m sure Ohio will change its mind next week. Today we read Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn today and started our writing activity! We discussed what we will miss about summer and what we are excited for about fall. This is always one of my favorite activities when we change seasons. The book set is also my favorite for each season change🤎

Annie looking all shiny ✨ in her summer coat munching on her hay annoyed I didn’t bring her a friend home this weekend.
A-little update:
I went to look at a mare this weekend that didn’t end up working out. We planned to bring her home but her owners didn’t disclose she had an accident in the pasture days prior and was lame. As much as I would have loved to bring her home I could not take the chance with her lameness and all the unknown vet care. Josie’s constant vet care mentally drained me from all the treatments, research and sleepless nights of worry I can’t start off like that again. But I did get to know all the vets in the clinic on a first name basis. 🤦🏼‍♀️
I did take this as a sign to wait until to bring another horse home.
