Representing Broward County’s abused, neglected and abandoned children.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A powerful moment for our community. 💙 We’re honored to stand alongside the incredible advocates, volunteers, and leaders behind the @galbroward as Broward County officially proclaims April as Child Abuse Prevention & Volunteer Appreciation Month. This recognition isn’t just a title — it represents the real, everyday work being done to protect, support, and fight for our children. The ones who need a voice. The ones who need guidance. The ones who deserve a second chance at stability, healing, and reunification. Behind every case is a story. A family working through challenges. A child hoping for safety, love, and consistency. And that’s where this mission matters most. We believe in empathy over judgment. We believe in rehabilitation, not rejection. We believe that with the right support, families can rebuild — and futures can be changed forever. If you’ve ever felt called to give back… this is your sign. 📍 Join us this Thursday at @patiobarpizza for a Mix & Mingle from 5PM-7PM Come connect, learn more about what we do, and see how you can be part of something bigger than yourself. Whether you have time to volunteer, resources to share, or simply want to understand — there’s a place for you here. The future is shaped by those willing to step up today. Let’s lead the way. 💙 #BrowardCounty #GuardianAdLitem #ChildAdvocacy #GiveBack #CommunityImpact

On my way to the @galbroward to pick up some toys for the kids we serve—small acts, big impact. There are so many children in our community who just need someone to show up for them. If you’ve ever thought about making a difference, this is your sign. Volunteer opportunities are available—take a moment to explore guardianadlitem.org or reach out to me directly anytime. I’d be more than happy to share how you can get involved. Kindness is free… but to these kids, it means everything. If you’re in a position to help shape the future, it’s not just an option—it’s an obligation. #GuardianAdLitem #GiveBack #CommunityImpact #Volunteer #BeTheDifference

Feeling so full of gratitude after an incredibly special few days reflecting on this journey I’ve been blessed to walk. Being part of the legal profession—especially here in South Florida—has been one of the great honors of my life. I’m endlessly inspired by the brilliant attorneys, jurists, scholars, and colleagues I’ve had the privilege to learn from and grow alongside of. As someone who took a non-traditional path to get here, I don’t take a single moment for granted. To now have my own family law practice—doing work that deeply fulfills me and directly impacts families—is a dream realized through persistence, purpose, and passion.💫 Serving on the @theflabar Legal Needs of Children Committee and various Family Law Section @familylawsectionfla Committees continues to be both a privilege and a responsibility I hold close to my heart. And stepping into an Executive Board position with @fawl.official FAWL, while also sitting on the Miami-Dade @mdfawl BOD, has been the icing on the professional cake. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by strong, thoughtful leaders working to make our legal community better for everyone.💙💛 Especially grateful to have connected with old friends while also making new ones from all over Florida, and even more special to have shared some well-earned down time with my amazing husband, my incredible parents, and our beautiful children. Their love and support are the foundation of everything I do. Feeling grateful, grounded, and motivated for what’s to come. 💫⚖️💛 #floridabar #flbar #floridabarfamilylawsection #mkpopelaw #familia #fullheart #nevergiveup #blueandgoldgala2025

🌟 Happy Father’s Day to All the Incredible Dads Out There! 👨‍👧‍👦❤️ Today, we celebrate the strength, love, and guidance that fathers bring into our lives. Whether by birth, choice, or circumstance—thank you to all the men who show up and lead by example. As a @galbroward for the State of Florida, I’m especially grateful for the role I get to play in the lives of children who may not yet have that father figure or steady role model. Being able to stand in that gap and be an advocate is a gift I don’t take lightly. 🙏 Let’s keep spreading kindness, showing up for others, and building stronger families and communities—together. And for all you first-time home buyers out there — don’t forget: 🏡 Florida’s Hometown Heroes Program is Coming Soon and helping everyday heroes become homeowners! If you’re a teacher, firefighter, healthcare worker, or in any qualifying profession—DO NOT sleep on this opportunity for your family. This program can provide down payment assistance and better rates to help you build your future. 📩 DM me or text “HERO” to 954-459-1250 to see if you qualify. Let’s get you home. #HappyFathersDay #FathersDay2025 #Gratitude #GuardianAdLitem #HometownHeroes #TheBrooksyTeam #FirstTimeHomeBuyer #FloridaHomes #FamilyFirst #SupportOurHeroes #HomeownershipGoals #TBG #KindnessMatters #RealEstateWithPurpose #LoKationRealEstate #Gratitude
