Community is the ultimate obstacle-crusher.

Shout out to the 60626 training group in Chicago.
We love seeing this crew bringing the community together to grind, sweat, and prep for the course.

They’re proof that the best way to get race-ready is with a squad at your back.

Don't have a training group in your neighborhood?
Take a page out of the 60626 playbook and start your own. Grab some neighbors, hit a local park, and build the team you want to see at the starting line.

See you on the course!💪

“No place to hang grips”? We hear that one all the time. But the truth is, you do have a place. You just might have to get a little scrappy with it.

Take Galen and Travis. No fancy setup at home? No problem. They found a park pavilion, threw up some grips, and got to work. Instant multi-rig training zone.

That’s the kind of grit we love to see. Well done, fellas. We can't wait to see you in September. 💪🔥

People always want to know what our toughest obstacle is when we're building a course, and our answer is always the same: It's the low rig.

This rig is always a 30ft rig and outfitted with as many of our grips as possible, several being very tough holds. Because it's a lot lower to the ground than a standard rig, not only does it require the grip strength to get through, but it also requires a strong core.

This is not an obstacle that you just show up to and complete without doing the work beforehand. This is the type of obstacle that sometimes will take racers YEARS to build the strength to make it all the way through.

So, whether you made it through a single grip and slipped, made it halfway or fully through this rig, be proud of what you accomplished because each one of those is a victory. Being able to get through obstacles like this takes time and work, and we want to celebrate your progress along the way.

If you were at @frontlineocr last weekend, let us know in the comments how far you made it through.

Midwest OCR - Inaugural Event! So glad I signed up for this and it was everything we expected - namely: challenging, but incredibly fun.

It was awesome seeing so many friends from all over come together to support @racereadyobstacles in their own event. We all knew it would be tough and it was. Kudos to everyone out there who kept pushing and surpassed your own expectations.

I felt great from the start but a few obstacles had me worried; I didn't expect the Rope Traverse would be the one to do me in; but after 6 attempts it was clear I didn't have the technique or muscular endurance to get across. Ripped up my arms and legs quite a bit in the process.

So I opted to make this just another training run and attempt the obstacles thereafter. The venue was great; I personally loved running the trails all along the cambered turns. The remaining obstacles I mostly got through, but had I still had a band - I would have had trouble on low rig, pegs fly, and skeletors revenge for sure.

All told, I'm looking forward to taking this one on again; hopefully next year, and certainly more trained up for it.

Also @jack_d_olson and @ocr.racer I don't know how we didn't get a picture at all. But had an awesome time and was great being on the course with y'all for longer than 5 seconds.

Also pictured: a real peacock and a giant block of cheddar.
