Our training programme is built around three essential pillars:

🩰 Foundations & Technique — developing strong ballet and contemporary foundations, alignment, coordination and control.

Body Conditioning & Flexibility — building strength, stability and mobility to support safe, confident movement.

Choreography & Performance — developing musicality, artistry, expression and performance confidence.

Each class has a purpose, and together they help dancers develop into strong, technically confident and expressive performers.

Our 2027 programme welcomes developing and experienced dancers, with training adapted to different levels.

Why do we train relevés?

Relevés may look like a simple exercise, but they play an important role in developing the strength, stability and control dancers need for more advanced movements.

Working on a block, with both feet together and alternating one foot at a time, challenges the muscles of the feet, ankles and calves while developing balance, coordination and controlled weight transfer.

✨ Why is this important for dancers?

✔️ Turns & Pirouettes – Strong ankles and stable relevés help dancers maintain balance, alignment and control during rotations.

✔️ Jumps & Leaps – Strengthening the feet and calves supports powerful take-offs and controlled landings.

✔️ Balances & Extensions – Improved ankle stability helps dancers maintain lifted positions with greater confidence.

✔️ Travelling Steps & Transitions – Strong feet allow dancers to transfer weight smoothly and move with precision.

✔️ Injury Prevention – Developing strength and control around the feet and ankles can help dancers manage the physical demands of training.

At Cami Dance Studio, we believe that beautiful movement starts with strong foundations.

It’s not always about learning bigger tricks or more complicated choreography. Sometimes the smallest, most controlled exercises create the greatest progress.

Because strong technique is built through consistent, intentional training. 🤍

Train with purpose. Dance with heart.

Want better posture and form when you’re dancing?

Try this PBT(Progressive Ballet Technique) exercise using small fusion ball.

This exercise is designed to strengthen the back muscles while promoting spinal elongation. It enhances upper body strength and flexibility, contributing to better posture and form in various dance moves.

How we train at our Body-Con&Flexibility classes⬇️

In this exercise, the dancers work their quadriceps, hip flexors and core while developing strength through their range of motion.

It helps dancers build:

• stronger, more controlled leg extensions
• active flexibility for middle splits
• strength for middle split leaps
• better hip stability and control
• greater range of motion they can actually use in movement

Flexibility is not just about how far you can stretch — it’s about having the strength and control to move through that range. 🤍

Building dancers from ground up!💪

Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) warm up:

This exercise focuses on developing core strength, pelvis stability, and posture, all of which are crucial for establishing a connection.

My strongest belief is that a great dancer is built on great foundations. At our classes, we will be incorporating PBT exercises to help students develop correct posture, alignment and assist with building strength and balance.
