Went to theater to see the ping pong movie.. it was really well done.. well acted.. i saw a trailer before the movie started .. the trailer was the Ryan Gosling sci fi film ..it was unreal how much it ( at least in the trailer) is like ‘space man’. The color tries , the shots not as good but its a lone character in a small cab with a spider like alien.. its a rock monster instead.. both are book adaptations and the Ryan Gosling film even uses the same actress that played the wife in Space man…not sure whats going in there.. Space man, for me, was one of the few projects that got the creature right.. the movie itself is like a piece of Heavy Metal magazine living.. one of the few good ones I’ve worked on..

Happy 25th anniversary to the drug fueled search for the American Dream, FEAR & LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS. This was my introduction to the world of Hunter S. Thompson and given it was helmed by the mad man that is Terry Gilliam (@terryvgilliam) and starring the duo of Johnny Depp (@johnnydepp) and Benicio Del Toro? I was along with for the ride of surreal imagery and psychotic ramblings amidst the the early 70’s. Left an impression on me when I first saw it 10 years ago and is still a favorite to this day.
