Peter Simon Mühlhäußer Solo Exhibition “The Mirror Me” Moving between vulnerability and strength, seduction and irritation, Peter Simon Mühlhäußer’s nearly life-sized sculptures in bronze, directly carved marble, and cast resin address themes of identity, sexuality, and social perception. Rather than reproducing reality, his figures develop through memory, imagination, and intuition, opening deep spaces for projection and psychological tension. The solo exhibition „The Mirror Me“ will be on view from 16 October to 21 November 2026. Anstatt die Realität abzubilden, entwickeln sich seine Figuren aus Erinnerung, Vorstellungskraft und Intuition und eröffnen tiefe Räume für Projektion und psychologische Spannung.“ GALLERY STƎPHAN STUMPF gallery for contemporary art Schleißheimer Straße 44 / Munich

LIVING COLOURS / Chrysis ignita 01 / Lenticular print The first work in my new series LIVING COLOURS. The ruby-tailed wasp (gemeine Goldwespe) carries almost no pigment. Its glow comes from ultra-thin layers in its armour that refract and overlay the light. Depending on the angle, it shifts from turquoise through indigo to magenta and copper gold. This kind of colour, known as structural colour, appears everywhere in nature: on beetle shells, butterfly wings, bird feathers, fish scales. What you see depends on where you stand. The lenticular print translates this phenomenon into an abstract sequence of images: as the viewer moves, the colours and their relationships to one another change. Beneath a ribbed lens foil lie many image layers, each step reveals a different one, and this is what makes animation within the picture possible. For LIVING COLOURS, I extract the colours of such living beings and translate them into lenticular prints. No depiction of the animal, only its colour, in motion. Chrysis ignita 01 is an extreme close-up of the wasp’s armour, 100 x 100 cm, in offset bands of colour that shift as you walk past. More living beings will follow. Swipe to see the work → The artwork is on view until this Saturday @gallerystephanstumpf DISTURBANCE / group exhibition on view through October 10, 2026. Polish photographer, graphic designer, and creative director Mirosław Sadecki-Trampler, a graduate of the Mediadesign Akademie in Munich, has presented several solo photography exhibitions in Poland, focusing on the Informel art movement and historical documentation. Here is a list of his most important exhibitions in Poland, along with dates, locations, and media coverage: 1. Exhibition at the Jewish Cultural Center in Kraków Date: September 2009 (the official opening took place on September 24, 2009). Location: Jewish Cultural Center in Kraków’s Kazimierz district (17 Meiselsa St.). Media coverage: The exhibition marked the Kraków debut of this documentary series. Local and industry media reported on the official opening, which was attended by the artist, emphasizing that Sadecki’s exhibition of black-and-white photographs served as a profound, somber tribute to the memory of the victims and a stark documentation of the camp’s remnants. 2. Exhibition at the International Youth Meeting Center in Oświęcim Date: September– October 2009. Location: Gallery at the International Youth Meeting Center in Oświęcim (11 Legionów St.). Media coverage: The regional portal Fakty Oświęcim and various news outlets reported on the opening of two interrelated exhibitions on the theme of remembrance. Attention was drawn to the symbolic significance of the exhibition in Oświęcim, where large-format photographs of plaques, prison cells, and prisoners’ personal belongings coexisted with the educational mission of the International Youth Meeting Center, engaging young people from Poland and Germany visiting the site in discussion. 3. Outdoor Exhibition in Kraków’s Main Square Date: Late 2009. Location: Kraków’s Main Square. Media coverage: The series was also presented as an outdoor installation in the heart of Kraków. Cultural media highlighted the stark social contrast of this event: stark, dramatic images of barbed wire and abandoned suitcases from Auschwitz-Birkenau were integrated into the bustling, everyday space of the Market Square. This approach was intended to prompt casual passersby and tourists to pause and reflect on the region’s history.

Colour can be an event. A lenticular print never shows you one colour, but one facet after another, depending on where you stand. This image is a tiny section of a living creature, magnified until nothing is left but colour. ⚡️ From which living creature do you think the colors might come? ⚡️ Come and check out my newest artworks ⚡️⚡️⚡️ DISTURBANCE / group exhibition @gallerystephanstumpf

Paradeisos The term “Paradeisos” derives from the Persian word “Pairidaēza”, which originally referred to an enclosed or walled garden. Through the Greek “parádeisos”, it developed into the idea of “paradise”: an idealised place of beauty, harmony, and perfect existence. This notion was later carried into the Judeo-Christian tradition through the Garden of Eden, understood as an archetype of a perfect natural environment. The garden thus becomes a protected and curated fragment of nature, a place where humans can remain close to nature without being exposed to its dangers. The figures inhabit this space in a state between pleasure and pain. There is pleasure in the experience of returning to the garden—a sense of belonging, sanctuary, and the profound satisfaction of being once again in proximity to nature. Yet this pleasure is inseparable from the awareness that the stay is temporary: the figures know that they must eventually leave. This tension echoes the long artistic tradition of the Expulsion from the Garden of Eden, from Renaissance depictions such as Masaccio’s “Expulsion from the Garden of Eden” to later interpretations by artists such as Thomas Cole and Benjamin West. In Paradeisos, however, the moment of expulsion is not necessarily represented as a single biblical event. Instead, it becomes a recurring human condition: the experience of finding refuge in nature while simultaneously recognising how fragile and temporary our access to that refuge has become. Paradeisos is now being shown at the Gallery Stephan Stumpf #contemporaryart #landscapeart #emergingartist #artstudio #caribbeanartist
