Last Market of the season… and last market before we are the official moms to Tully! Please come and support us! Setting up and breaking down for pop ups are so hard but we do it because we enjoy them and networking is great!

🖌️In the final stretch of piecing together Avondalia community works for Friday’s Avondalia: In Chorus and Cohesion Opening Reception. Chronicling along the way - see Avondalia Substack Link in Bio.

🌞Pleased to feature two cyanotype works of Avondale-based art teacher Gabriela Almonte @galmonte_art who teaches in Logan Square, inspiring our budding neighborhood youth artists daily. (And us too!)

📰Also grateful for the community art volunteer work and beautiful risograph Avondalia contributions of Shira Friedman-Parks @shifripar who believes in the preservation art of print media. Shira works as a graphic designer with @chicago_reader

➡️Lastly, but certainly not least-ly, we welcome @mattmccarthymc2 of @milwaukee.avenue.messenger and partner literary & arts organizer to the Avondalia show this year. Matt and I are brainstorming a collaborative submission project for 2026 regarding 50 Years of @thealleychicago so stay tuned. He will be onsite at the show repping @milwaukee.avenue.messenger 📚

See you Friday, October 3rd 5-9
Saturday, October 4th 11-5
Closing Reception Performance in West Avondale at @solidaritystu Sunday, October 5th 6-9pm. Linktree in Bio to RSVP

Our class made a zine! Printed by @annawagnerart and @alligatorfuckhaus

I tagged all the folks except Tom’s fish because he’s not on the gram.
