Working full-time but still struggling to afford rent? Choosing between childcare and bills? Watching your paycheck disappear before the month even ends? 👀

Memphis, we need to talk about the REAL cost of living.

The people experiencing these challenges every day deserve to be part of the conversation about solutions. That’s why The Equity Alliance is bringing our community together to talk about housing, economic security, and what it really takes to make ends meet.

Because the people closest to the problem should have a seat at the table. 🖤

Memphis, Shelby County, WE HEAR YOU! 🗣️

Affordable housing is a PROBLEM. Grocery prices are OUT OF CONTROL…and working families are being forced to make impossible choices just to survive.

Working hard should mean being able to afford to LIVE. PERIOD.

It’s time to bring the community together to build real solutions about the cost of living, food security, housing, and what families need to thrive.

📍 Join The Equity Alliance for our Shelby County Convening as we discuss the issues impacting our communities and identify opportunities for collective action.

Our communities deserve more than survival, we deserve stability, opportunity, and the ability to THRIVE.

Everybody is talking about WHO we’re voting for, but not enough people are talking about WHAT we’re voting on!

Those amendments and referendums at the bottom of your ballot…They matter too!

Mane, voting isn’t just about who we put in POWER. It’s about what POWER we’re giving away!

I broke it down so you don’t have to guess at the polls! Watch. Learn. Share. Then VOTE! ✊🏾

I had to remind the youngins tht at one point it was against the law for us to read/learn. We still persevered, however that one thing hindered our progress. “Positive Pages” is making reading fun and cool again. 📚 you can support the mission by donating gently used books, volunteering with the organization, or sending any amount you can spare to $FSPWW The Work Shall Continue!! @k_cupz100k @jabarrejarrett @patrickreedii @gamechangersmovement @3vleader @telisafranklin
