#goodmorning
In the cold light of day… I’m not sure if it’s there yet. Quite prefer the #details rather than the full #painting at the moment - going to hide it away for a couple of days and come back to it with fresher eyes.

Back at the @porticolibrary for my final day of #research into manners and customs and I’ve come across a great paragraph about duelling #written in 1856 about the 1700s that I though I’d #share “Did the stranger who sat opposite you in the coffee house differ from you in opinion; did the blacklegs, with whom you had just lost a few thousand at faro, after cozening you out of your estate, jeer you upon venturing no more; did your friend refuse to acknowledge the supremacy of your mistress over his, there is no other remedy than a duel...” All my research goes into new #artwork I’m #creating for the ‘Polite’ #exhibition at the #library with @gang_of_five in October. #book #archive #researcher #literature #literacy #manchester #art #artist #artistsoninstagram #collaboration #creative #creativity #instagram #instadaily #instagood #instalike #instaart #create #followforfollowback #likesforlike #bobnuttsjr #GOF #porticolibrary
