When you hold such a story that can inspire and change lives, You can only hope to find a way. May the paper I fold have the wings to take flight from the swing of my arms when I threw to make light. @planes

Few years back. I finally reached my goal of speaking to @officialspikelee . awkward moment how I crept up on him by the sidewalk of his office during Pandemic/Covid times, with a #EveryCourtCanDream Hammock and hat. he said "What am I gonna do with that???" , I couldnt put my words together out of excitement/nervousness but instead I showed him pictures of courts we painted starting with his image all the way to the most iconic mural I will forever be a part of, the KObe & Gigi painting at the Tenement Court Philippines. to make this epic long story short. i was able to walk with Spike Lee back to the office. he went inside to call fusegreen in which came outside to listen to what must have been a confusing blah blah blah from me lol. Spike Lee handed the hammock and hat to fusegreen then proceeded to go where he was originally going. im guessing the deli or cafe, cause he was super dressed down. My boy @ramwellkatimbang19 @ramwellkatimbang watching the whole thing go down while double parked right in front of office. (Im tight he didnt even try to take a photo/vid lol) As Spike was walking away, though I promised to control myself from asking. specially he had given me his time already. Hes about 20 feet away, lost my poise and screamed "Sir Spike Lee, can i take a photo with you?" he turns around for a second looking tight, without saying a word back handed waved his hand as if to say GTFOH! (I hated myself for that last effort LOL) but i am hoping that he would remember, and would leave a lasting impression. .. once I told fusegreen im filipino... @illmindproducer was the first name he mentioned. asked If I knew him...... #Facts #TrueStories #ToTheBillboard #SaveTenement #AranetaDreams #BrightonBeachMemoirs #Brooklyn #lincolnrailsplitter
