October is Peasant Month! Struggle for Land and Against Imperialist Attack and Plunder! This year, the face of US imperialism has become increasingly exposed through its use of military force and economic pressure abroad. In January, the US captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and expanded control over Venezuela’s oil industry. In February, the US and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury against Iran, widening conflict in West Asia. By June, Cuba announced economic reforms amid the continuing impact of decades of US blockades and sanctions. Here, the crisis created and aggravated by US imperialism is felt sharply. The country is being drawn deeper into the US military strategy in the Indo-Pacific through Balikatan and the continuing expansion of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA). Yet amid all this, peasants continue to bear the burden of landlessness, hunger, low income, and exorbitant cost of production. As a Super El Nino dawns that is expected to further punish farmers, the regime’s response is by promoting projects that favor big business and foreign interests – such projects that also siphon our energy and water resources. In the face of intensifying imperialist attacks, our solidarity with the peasant struggle becomes even more necessary. Land must not be seized for military bases, mining, industrial hubs, or investments benefiting a handful of foreign and local ruling elites. Land belongs to those who till it – not to war, not to US plunder, and not to the profits of landlords and corporations. Our solidarity belongs with the peasantry, and we must struggle alongside them — for genuine land reform and the decisive defeat of imperialism! #BuwanNgMagbubukid2026 #PeasantMonth2026

UMULAN, HINARANG, HUMINTO, PUMADYAK PA RIN. Mahigit isang daan tayong nagsama-sama para sa Padyak ❌ Silica. What started as a small community ride became much bigger because people showed up, brought their bikes, made art, made noise, and rode with us. Hindi naging smooth ang lahat. Inabutan tayo ng malakas na ulan, ilang beses huminto at nag-regroup, at may pagkakataon pang hinarang ang ride. Pero naghintayan, naghanapan, at walang iniwan hanggang dulo. Mga siklista at commuters tayo. Tayo mismo ang humaharap sa lumalalang krisis pangklima: matinding pagbaha, at mga kalsadang hindi ligtas para sa pedestrian. Habang nilulustay ang pera ng bayan sa korapsyon, patuloy namang inuuna ang interes ng dayuhan kaysa sa lupa, kabuhayan, at kinabukasan. Matindi ang korapsyon sa bansa. Mas matindi ang imperyalistang pandarambong.
