From balcony garden to lunch plate🌯🥬
My first harvest🌱❤️
No fancy farm. No huge vegetable patch. Just one sunny balcony, a planter box, a little patience.. and apparently enough lettuce for lunch.😂

A great project, the biggest part was the removal of the compost heap that got out of control! The best part was the soil underneath that had been there for almost 10 years was usable! We then removed the top layer of sand and added the compost to bring back some nutrients! Seeded this area with @garden_master_ shady mix! Let’s cross fingers in the next few months it grows and creates a more appealing lawn!

It costs almost R30 for a bag of lettuce at the shops. It costs around R50 for 6 lettuce plants from your average nursery. Small garden? Use pots. Start small and grow from there.

Self sufficiency is not impossible, you just need to start.

Call us today and we will be there to assist you along the way.

My Garden

Spring is definitely springing early this year and the garden is showing signs of waking from its slumber.
There's a mountain of work that needs to be done....pruning, trimming, rearranging and honestly I would love to re-landscape the garden , give it a makeover and get it looking great again.

Currently bird life, monkeys, feral cats, hens, chickens, mongoose and all sorts of insects visit and have created their own playground and enjoy their time in it. I would love to be able to enjoy my garden again like I used to.

I don't have the resources and energy. Praying the garden fairies help me out a little and with some gummy berry juice I can become SuperGardenGirl and get back to my green finger gardening and help the garden thrive again. 🤭🌺🌼🪻🏵️🌾🌷🫜🌿🪴🪏🪏🪏🪏🪏🪏🌽🍆🌰🥔🫛
