I heard or read somewhere that music is the language of the gods, and I couldn’t agree more. Play some good music around the purest souls, like animals and babies, and see how it impacts them. It tells us a lot about what music does to our subconscious and energy, and this can’t be overlooked. So make sure you bless yourself with quality music frequently, and this is where our roundups save you browsing time. Until next time!

Let's catch-up in the comments with your favourite track from this Roundup!

A textured, atmospheric journey that masterfully balances light and dark through meticulous experimentation. 🌿🌑

"Violent Streak" by @gardenbackband is the bold first single from a band dedicated to crafting immersive, slow-burning soundscapes. By layering found sounds with diverse instrumentation, the track creates an environment that initially washes over the listener, only to reveal deeper layers and complexity upon repeated listens. It is a deeply personal release that encapsulates the band’s worldview, serving as a powerful introduction to their forthcoming EP, The Fields Beneath.

Gardenback is an experimental project that pushes the boundaries of folk and alternative rock. Drawing inspiration from artists like Ben Howard, Big Thief, and Radiohead, the band creates a unique sonic signature that incorporates everything from jazz and classical elements to the rhythmic influence of jungle and breakbeat. Their creative process is defined by patience and precision, blending home-recorded intimacy with studio work—including sessions at the iconic Roundhouse—to build music that thrives on tension and emotional resonance.

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere and stream "Violent Streak" on all platforms. 🎧

Gardenback's debut single, "Violent Streak," arrives with a level of confidence that immediately distinguishes the Chesham, England outfit from many emerging acts. Serving as the band's first official release ahead of their forthcoming EP, The Fields Beneath, the track introduces a group committed to thoughtful songwriting, immersive production, and emotional authenticity instead of chasing fleeting trends.
