A story of faith, true friendship and never giving up: Almost coming up on 5yrs passed. While embarking on enterprising into the medical cannabis industry. My business partner and I had nearly four million dollars worth of crops completely destroyed in a vicious storm that swept through Kentucky and other states throughout the Midwest. Losing damn near every dollar invested on top of personal matters that would send even the strongest of men to the brink of bankruptcy and insanity. I kept it moving, teaching, consulting and learning trades (electrician) to stay afloat.
I honestly thought and felt I was temporarily knocked out of the business of medical cannabis.
Three days ago to date my direct business partner and our associate partners sent me pdf spreadsheets with a Zoom link for a conference call. We had the meeting discussing regrouping, scope for next year etc. While still woozy from the lost I honestly wasn’t listening fully to my team. Lo and behold, my Amish and Kentucky team sends me live footage of our new grow operation. Tells me we are 100% back in business and will be ready for harvest this November and not to worry because he considers me family. 😮 My head is still spinning 😵‍💫. All I can say is stay down and you will definitely come up ⬆️. Faith of a mustard seed will grow into a robust and healthy crop. In my heart I never believed in race . Only good or bad people and the spirit that guides them. Saying this to say me and my direct agricultural business partner are the only black men on the team. This team is predominantly white. The MOST HIGH is the absolute greatest. Can’t even make this up. Put the work in, stay loyal and stay ready. You never know when your blessings will come. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Hallelujah
