The last few weeks or so were a beautiful, magical wicked yeehaw of a whirlwind. How sweet to have little pockets of home no matter how far north or south we go.

Here’s the rundown:
Good food (regardless of how Michael feels about pickle pizza), good people, good people getting married, waking up to Grammy’s hummingbird habitat, finding the teeniest @bucees in TX of all places, ate some chicken strips on the coast of ME because I just can’t with seafood, put my toes in the chilly northern sand, and cheered for a baseball team I had never previously heard of. Thankful for all of these things and more.

A moment of pure bliss after Garrett asked me to be his wife. No one knew but us. Our phones were dead — no distractions, no noise.

A pause to dip our feet in the water, be still, and soak in the sweetness of the beginning of forever.

The calm before the storm, the storm being wedding planning — though it is actually no storm at all. Rather, the greatest blessing I’ve been entrusted with thus far.

I’m still living in this moment of bliss, in a dream.
You all just know now — which somehow makes it even sweeter.
