Bend, you’ve warmed our hearts. Since our first post about our fundraiser for Silver Rail Elementary’s affected families and teachers in 10/21, the outpouring of support from this community has been incredible.

And now, that generosity is going even further.

In addition to the Malarkey family matching every dollar in restaurant sales, a generous Bend local has stepped forward to match our sales as well.

EVERY $1 SPENT = $3 DONATED.

Join us at Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge on October 21 from 4–9 p.m. for regular dining service with a shared purpose. We’ve already received an influx of reservations, so we strongly recommend reserving your table.

If you’d like to support before Wednesday, stop by during regular business hours to make a donation through a gift card purchase.

Our team will be wearing Silver Rail’s school colors and we’d love for you to join us in wearing them too.💜🩶🖤

Let’s fill the tables and show these families and teachers how much Bend cares. ❤️‍🩹

Our hearts and prayers are with the students, families, staff, and everyone affected by the tragic shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School yesterday.

This coming Wednesday October 21, Hawkeye & Huckleberry will donate 100% of all sales directly to the families affected by this tragedy. The Malarkey Family will also match every dollar in sales with an additional donation, doubling the total contribution.

Every dollar spent will mean two dollars donated.

We invite our Bend community to come together, share a meal, and support our neighbors during this heartbreaking time. 🤍

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and it can be for you too!

Next time you’re in bend, check out @bigskyballoonco . It’s a small 2 man operation run by Darren and @garrettpink . We had such an amazing experience. They only run for a few more weeks this year but you can check them out in 2027 as well!

Thanks for letting me experience this @visitbend

Her last first day of school after 44 years of teaching PE. 🥹❤️🏐

Growing up, I always knew my mom was a teacher… but as I got older, I realized she was so much more than that. She has been a coach, a mentor, a cheerleader, a role model, and a safe place for so many kids in our community.

For 44 years, she has shown up with the biggest heart, the biggest smile, and more energy than anyone could ever imagine. And the fact that generations of kids still light up when they see her says everything about the impact she has made. 🥹

I’ve had the privilege of growing up watching the world see what I’ve always known: my mom is pretty darn special. ❤️

Here’s to her last first day and one incredible final year. What a legacy she has built. 🏐✨

I love you, Mom. I couldn’t be more proud of you!💖
