As the new Fall campaigns start to launch, I wanted to look back at some work I’m really proud of! I’ve always loved making BTS content. In my head, it’s my mini documentaries (and my dream is to work on a documentary one day, so this is practice! F1 🏎️🏎️, please call me!) I’ve always outsourced it to another photographer or videographer. But this last season, I’ve been capturing stills and video myself. Learning to film on a camera has been a work in progress, but it’s all coming together. Movement, angles, toggling between stills and videos- it’s a win for me.

I’ve also been directing more - feeling a lot more confident with what I want to see in the frame—been getting better at interviewing too, crafting the story and answers in real time; knowing if I got both the shots and stories. I’m most excited about evolving this - running both BTS and social at the same time, diversifying and growing, not putting a cap on what the teams and I can do.

So yeah, more to come in Fall!

Model @irinashayk has cemented her status as a recognizable name within the sartorial zeitgeist. Born Irina Shaykhlislamova, Shayk effortlessly transitioned from a small-town beauty to a global fashion phenomenon. After her first major cover for #SportsIllustrated in 2011, Shayk’s career took an extraordinary change after #RiccardoTisci and #DonatellaVersace helped her transition to the high fashion world.
