POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you wonderful wine community of Edinburgh - what a hoot the fringe has been. And a big thanks to @lepetitraisin_winebar -
where the events were hosted in their downstairs space Le Bleu.

Over 5 fringe events we covered a story of 5 and often 6 wines across the country in a story to compare and contrast French tradition with modern day Rebellion from Wine Makers across France 🇫🇷 looking to experiment, looking to break boundaries and moulds and create something extraordinary!

It was a story of:

Rebellion - Chenin blanc in Sancerre?! 🤔
Reinvention - All female wine makers in a grower champagne family! ❤️🙌
Relocation - Scottish family relocating to Provence to make rosé wine 🌹
Revolution - 100% cabernet sauvignon blanc de noir from Bordeaux?! 🤓
Resurgence - Chill-able reds and the come back of the original Clariet from Bordeaux 🍷
Resurrection - Chatus the once forgotten grape making its come back 🐦‍🔥

All wines from @cockburnsofleith1796 (review of each individually coming...) A bottle of wine won at each event too!

Thank you to all who came. 🙌😊 Looking back over the photos brought a tear to my eye all the smiling faces - that's what it's truly all about! Pure joy!

Next wine event is a masterclass across North East Spain 16th September 6.30pm (link in bio or https://www.beingwineful.com/events/community

Golfie has reopened one of its most iconic trails and we went along to ride and film the story behind the original trail and the @tvtrails rebuild. Big shifts by all involved and makes you really appreciate what goes into a trail. Full vid up, hope you enjoy it ✌️

A Full Round Of Golf - ft. Mark Scott
•
The goal was to ride every trail on the Golfie - A world-class network of trails in Scotland’s Tweed Valley - all in one ride. That’s 44 trails. It would require an insane level of fitness, and commitment. The route would ultimately cover 148.3 km and with 8,297 Meters of climbing.
Then you need the “knowledge”. The trails range from mellow-ish, through to EWS hard, and some too hard for EWS, challenges. In short, it isn’t simply about fitness. You must be good. You must be……mad.
This is the story of Mark Scott’s mission to try a full round of the Golfie. And it’s a story of the trails and the people there.

National Gravel champs was a blast, got myself into the right moves but just didn’t have legs and had a bit of an implosion with a lap and a half to go 🤣. Limped home for 25th in a mega strong field this year, can’t grumble though with not much racing in the legs recently. I’ll be back 🙌🏼
