Last Friday, we had the honor of premiering @abrazofilm for the first time in New York at the @cortocircuitoff Film Festival. It was incredibly special to return to my former city and share this moment with so many friends who came to the screening! Huge congratulations to @dianavargasny and @ture.leo for curating such an amazing festival—20 years strong! Abrazo has taken us to numerous festivals, but the selection of shorts at @cortocircuitoff was truly outstanding. This year, for their 20th anniversary, they focused on themes of immigration—a timely and crucial spotlight. It’s more important than ever to give a voice to immigrants, the voiceless, and minorities, and CortoCircuito did just that. In collaboration with director @zenpace and The Light, we are celebrating the scholars and organizations of the previous editions, and inviting new talents to apply to this amazing initiative by Gucci Equilibrium. Established in 2019, Gucci Changemakers North America includes the Scholarship Program and Impact Fund, supporting talented students and non-profit organizations. It will now expand with a new Creative Fellows initiative to uplift leaders who use creativity to spark social action and community impact.
