Thankyou to everyone who came out last night and helped us open the gates! We hope you had as much fun as us (and have less sore necks) and enjoyed your taste of @gatekeepergameofficial metal trivia. If you made a pledge towards the Kickstarter, hell yeah, your support helps bring this game one step closer to reality (and we hope you remembered to get your photo in front of the wall of death)! If you haven't made a pledge and have the means to do so, the Kickstarter closes in 25 days. Don't miss out on being a founding member. There are plenty of tiers to choose from, including individual, business and band tiers (You know your logo would look so good on that Wall of Death) A massive thankyou to @aidan_night (Gatekeeper creator) for having us play the launch party, we are so glad to be able to help promote and support this super cool idea. We've known Aidan for a while now and have been watching this game grow from its conception stages, and we cannot say enough that the work that's been put into this game is insane, especially when you remember that there's no big team or company working on this, it's Aidan's love and passion that is making this happen. Thanks @evilcorp for hosting last night and to the bands who kept the stage rocking all night - @nocturnal_syndrome , Sanction AD and @aeon_nexus_music . If you are needing more live music next weekend, catch us playing out at Banshees Friday night (tix in biolink) Final thankyou to @teiwaz501st for once again grabbing an end of night band photo for us (Also, Dave's in a band now, check out @astrosity.band) . . . #Gatekeeper #GatekeeperMetalTrivia #WallOfDeath #LaunchGig #Metalheads

We are still pretty sad @scottly_bass ended up sick the night we played @gatekeepergameofficial together, so we gave him some trivia about our upcoming gig instead. If you want us to be able to play Gatekeeper as a full band, you'll have to help get the kickstarter to it's goal of $17,000 in the next few weeks! 20% raised already, so just gotta do that 5 more times, easy right? Support can be as little as $10 and every bit counts, so check out the tier options through the official profiles biolink. What's better than 20% of funds raised for the kickstarter? How about the free ticket allocation already being 50% reserved for tomorrow night's kickstarter launch gig! We know from experience people like to wait until the last minute to get their tickets, but if you want to make sure you don't end up missing out, reserve yours now through our biolink. GATEKEEPER KICKSTARTER GIG AT @evilcorp 6pm - Doors (Come and play the game yourself) 8pm - @aeon_nexus_music 8:50pm - Sanction AD 9:40pm - Flamboyant Nightmare 10:30pm - @nocturnal_syndrome Come along and open the gates with us . . . #BrisbaneGigGuide #PopQuiz #PreGigQuiz #TestingOurBassist #MetalBands

We'd say this is the video that shows who came out on top of our band Gatekeeper Metal Trivia game, but after not hearing an "Um actually" in round 3, then accidently skipping someone in round 4, we think we may just need to play again to make that call (and next time we will make sure Scott does not get sick just before we meet up to play!). To help make Gatekeeper a real, buyable trivia game, go check out Gatekeepers Kickstarter and see what you can pledge to show your support. The Kickstarter is going for 27 days and needs A$13,000 more to reach it's A$17,000 goal! You can get a print and play edition of the game from only A$30, with first edition physical games from A$65 (If the goal is not reached, nobody is charged, but Gatekeeper won't go into production) Check all the info through the @gatekeepergameofficial socials and official kickstarter page. Make sure to also share the Gatekeeper details with your metal loving friends, then bring them to the launch gig THIS FRIDAY! 📍 @evilcorp (Fortitude Valley) 📅 Friday 25th September 🕑 6pm (We play at 9:40pm) 🎟️ Free (Please register for a free ticket through our biolink) . . . #GatekeeperMetalTrivia #MetalTrivia #MetalNerds #Gatekeepers #MetalLife

We apologise for missing @langdonicus "Um actually" during one of the questions in round 3, but doesn't seem like he needed it anyway. Super excited to see the Gatekeeper kickstarter kick off today and seeing people already pledging to help get this awesome game created! Here's a little preview of what pledges can get you: - The complete 300-question game for A$65 - Enter the ranks as one of Gatekeeper’s Chosen with the full merch pack. - Become one of only 25 Founding Gatekeepers - Bring your band, store, venue or scene organisation into Gatekeeper from the very beginning. - Your name on the WALL OF DEATH Some of these tiers are EXTREMELY limited: ⚔️ 100 Gatekeeper’s Chosen ⚔️ 25 Founding Gatekeepers ⚔️ 25 Scene Strongholds ⚔️ 25 Band Strongholds ⚔️ 10 Band Inner Circle places Go check out the tier info through the offical @gatekeepergameofficial Kickstarter page (Link available through the offical page socials) You don't need another reminder about coming to the launch party on Friday already do you?

Watch the first round of us playing @gatekeepergameofficial and tell us - do you think this is enough to guess who won the game? Make sure to check out the offical Gatekeeper socials if you haven't already because the kickstarter tiers have now dropped ahead of the kickstarter going live on Tuesday! There's many choices with lots of goodies available, and some exclusive options you'll need to be quick to be part of (We may have our eyes on one of the band options). Money tight at the moment? We get it, cost of living sucks! But come along and hang out at the free launch gig at @evilcorp on Friday where you can play the game and enjoy live metal. Reserve your ticket through our biolink now to make sure you can get in on the night, because the spots are starting to disappear. . . . #GatekeeperMetalTrivia #Metalgram #BandTrivia #Trivia #WhoWillWin

Spot the p0ser 🔎 👀 It's scientifically proven, if you "um, actually" yourself instead of your teammate in a game of trivia, you're still equally as obnoxious! Come test your own metal trivia knowledge - and maybe "um, actually" your way to victory! - this Friday night at @evilcorp for the Kickstarter launch of @gatekeepergameofficial 🙌🙌🙌 It's free entry, gameplay from 6pm and bands from 8pm. Registrations are already half filled up, so go to the Gatekeeper Instagram to register your spot now before they book out! #gatekeepermetaltrivia #brisbanegigs #brisbanemusicscene #brisbanelivemusic #brisbanearts
