Moments from this past weekend in upstate New York at our @gatherwild weaving retreat. Full of weaving, indigo dyeing, and exploring all things fiber at the Sheep and Wool Festival. Grateful for the opportunity to slow down, create, and connect with such a wonderful group of women.

Looking for two more women to join me at Gatherwild Ranch!!! We leave Thursday. All you have to do is take Friday off and hop on an Amtrak. This is going to be the coziest, peak fall weekend, perfect for a deep reset before the holiday season.

Chip Fest was the best FUNeral party a girl could ask for! Sooooo many incredible friends & family dressed in overalls to honor my sweet pops! I am truly touched by those who came near & far. TWO SPOTS opened up in my weaving retreat with @gatherwildranch in upstate, NY this October for an immersive creative textile retreat.

This immersive experience is designed for both curious beginners and seasoned weavers seeking a more intentional, hands-on experience rooted in connection through craft.

Together, we will spend several days weaving in this picturesque setting, learning how to translate inspiration into figurative and abstract woven artworks on the frame loom 🌀 We will soak-in the area’s natural beauty and eat farm-to-table meals on Gatherwild’s gorgeous property.

Timed alongside the Sheep & Wool Festival 🐑 it’s especially suited for those drawn to material culture, tactile processes, and learning about the importance of making in community.

WE NEED CAPTAINS!
We’re looking for people to help conceive and bring into existence a “stop” on the Haunted Hayride. Each captain gets a small stipend to cover the cost of the supplies. We’ll help find any actors you need and give you lots of support along the way.

G’town Haunted Hayrides 2026 — one night only!
• Saturday, October 10: 5 - 9:30 pm
• (Rain date: Sunday, October 11)
• Rides every 30 minutes starting at 5:30pm. Last ride: 9:30pm.
• Every rider needs a ticket. Tickets available in advance and at the door. Each ticket is $10. Advance tickets go on sale August 19 at 12 pm!

• Our aim is to make you SCREAM. The hayride might not be appropriate for every rider.

The Germantown Park Commission invites thrill-seekers to climb aboard our tractor-drawn wagon to experience a trail of eerie lights, spooky scenes, spine-chilling stories — plus a good jump scare or two (or five!).

Each 30-minute journey is led by a rascally MC and takes riders past a dozen creepy scenes filled with costumed actors. The 2025 Haunted Hayrides featured a gang of Victorian girls playing sinister schoolyard games; twisted faeries lurking in the trees; a horrid butcher station; and TWO rip-roaring surprises from the sky!

The evening also includes:
• NEW this year: A Haunted House! One visit included with your Hayride ticket; Haunted House tickets may also be purchased separately for $5 at the door.
• NEW this year: Free seasonal activities for all ages in the Activity Center, including face painting and coloring station.
• Free ten-minute wagon rides with the Larch Hill Farm Belgian Horses — as availability allows between 5-7 pm. (first come, first served)
• Food Trucks (for additional purchase)

Please note:
• Tickets for each time slot are available through advance sales and at the door.
• We are unable to reserve specific seats on the wagon.
• This is a volunteer-run experience funded by donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales.
