The Gator Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist Campus Ministry serving the college campuses in Gainesville, FL

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We had a refreshing time at Florida Annual Conference this past week! It was a great time of connecting with students from Wesley Foundations across the state, and watching our friends and alumni shine! Good Samaritan UMC in Tallahassee got chartered, and Rev. Dr. Latricia Scriven from @famuwesley hosted a night of Spirit-led innovation and there was also an offering collected for the ministry at FAMU! On Saturday, alumni Zach Hutchinson got commissioned as a provisional elder, and Rev. Jonathan Brewster got ordained as a full elder in the United Methodist Church! We are so proud of our alumni and so hopeful for the future of the UMC! #flumc19 #onmissiontogether

What a sweet gift from @gatorwesley ! The Gator Wesley Foundation has been a huge part of Kris and my faith formation, and that grounding in faith follows you beyond your time as an undergraduate student. For me, it even helped me realize my call into ordained ministry! This sweet gift is a great reminder of the legacy that lives on. #supportcampusministry #supportgatorwesley #campusministry #gatorwesleybaby #gatorwesleyclassof2040

Pray-in at the @wendys on @uflorida campus? ✔️ Today students from @gatorwesley & @ufchispas joined Rabbi Michael Joseph from Temple Shir Shalom in standing in solidarity with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and their struggle to demand farmworkers’ rights. We urge President Fuchs and the Administration to reconsider its ties with Wendy's, until the corporation becomes a full participant in the Fair Food Program, and takes a stand to uphold the humanity and dignity of the workers it financially benefits from. #BoottheBraids
