Culture: Art Angle⁣ ⁣ RED AND BLUE: A Portrait of the Duality Within⁣ ⁣ RED AND BLUE — A Portrait of the Duality Within is a visual project spanning photography and film, exploring the emotional duality that exists within a single individual.⁣ RED embodies tension, impulse, and emotional eruption, while BLUE represents stillness, restraint, and silence. Rather than portraying these emotions as opposing forces, the project explores how they overlap, shift, and coexist within us.⁣ Through colour, movement, light, and the body, RED AND BLUE translates these invisible emotional states into a visual language — a portrait of the contradictions we carry within ourselves.⁣ ⁣ Model: Gaeul Kim @gaueeel⁣ Film director: Sangbae Park @colt90vdo⁣ D.O.P: Seungwon Lee @alive_sw⁣ Assistant: Yeonyoon Choi @_xiohc⁣ Photographer: Youngjae Shin @shin_0_jae⁣ Sub Photographer: Hayoung Yang @hadong_y⁣ Stylist: Dayun Hwang @i.m.c.h.a.c.h.a⁣ Makeup&Hair: Unsoo Bae @shu_mup⁣ Graphic Design: Yoon Kim @yoon___kim⁣ Sound Design: Seungho Snow Jung @keepitsnow⁣ ⁣ #c41magazine

RED AND BLUE A portrait of the duality within us. RED AND BLUE explores two opposing emotional states that coexist within a single individual. RED embodies anger, tension, and emotional eruption — a state in which feelings can no longer remain contained. BLUE represents stillness, restraint, and calm — the quiet that exists on the other side. Rather than portraying these emotions as separate or conflicting forces, the film looks at how they continuously overlap, shift, and exist within the same person. Through color, movement, light, and the body, RED AND BLUE transforms these invisible emotional states into a visual language. At its core, the film is not simply about two colors. It is a portrait of the contradictions we carry within ourselves.
