Last week Monday, on Freedom Day, we premiered our new short film “It’s Lit” based on a poem I wrote by the same title and is directed by @_sixthsensei . The film addresses the plight of SA youth and the broken promises of the generations before us. To say the night was surreal is an understatement. I’m still soaking it all in.

It has been a labour of love and a test of seeing dreams and visions through to the end. I’m eternally grateful to the cast and crew for an incredible production. And to my 2 partners in crime, @_sixthsensei & Gugu Radebe Xaba, we did it choms. After all the twists and turns, we did it. This is only the beginning and I look forward to the journey ahead. #ItsLitFilm
