happy “Bullets” release day ❤️‍🩹 i remember being heartbroken and on the bus when i wrote this one. I opened up GarageBand on my iPhone, pulled up the guitar sound, and recorded the jankiest demo vocal into my cheap 7/11 headphone mic. It was exhilarating, and cathartic. I was sad, and also happy. Confused, but also so so sure of what was coming outta me. (that’s what she said) anyway… I’ve always had a hard time with love. And while I’ve been heartbroken by people leaving.. the greatest pain I have felt is leaving the ones that tried to love me. I’m 26, and learning to love again. But I feel like God helped me write this song. He may have actually just written it for me, and I was so sad at the time of writing this, that I had no more thoughts to cloud the creativity. Just an open heart, and an open journal. I think that’s why it felt so good to write it. But also, I finished this song with some of the people I love the most, last summer. thank you to @pierre.postal and @http.sboothy for helping me finish this song and offering your creative genius.. thank you to @pierre.postal @songswithfriends @samjacksonwillows for bringing this song to life with your incredible production. Thank you @pierre.postal for your vocal production that I’m so lucky to have, and thank you @samjacksonwillows for mixing this bad boy. And lastly, thank you to @montanomastering @kristianmontano for mastering the heck out of this song, and every song.

It’s been a lot of blood sweat and tears thus far.. and I needed the visuals to reflect that. So I’d like to make a special thank you to @houseofheartsto for creating this vision with me, and capturing the drama of it so well. @gavin.ico @michaelwhynot @samjacksonwillows … creative geniuses. And another special thank you to @studio201_toronto for your beautiful open space that allowed us to run wild with our vision.

I’d also like to make a very special thank you to @mariellelachey_ for creating this look with me. Every video so far, you’ve been the one to help me actualize my art through clothing and styling, which is another art. So thank you for being a part of my vision every time, and bringing your creativity and talent to each and every video. ❣️🤍🔪

15 years in the mud with the snakes… Killing Spree out now 🩸🤍

this song is dedicated to all the snakes who taught me to rely on myself. this song is dedicated to the little girl in me who signed her first deal at 9. this song is dedicated to every artist tryna make it in this Wild West industry. keep going. Your dream ain’t a dream, it’s your purpose. You deserve to honour yourself. this song is dedicated to anyone who’s ever been taken advantage of. this song is dedicated to the wounded with battle scars who still show up to fight. this song is dedicated to myself too. this song is dedicated to all the people who have supported me all this time. and lastly, this song is dedicated to my team of people around me who I’ve been lucky to find after 15 years of relentless searching.

I love you and I hope this makes you feel something.
