Dear Baseball, I never thought the day would come where the game became a thing of my past. Thank you for the 14 years we spent together. The laughter, the bonds, the hard days filled with anger, and most importantly the sadness. You taught more lessons to me than any book could ever contain. For the time being you gave me sanctuary, you gave me peace, and you gave me the opportunity of freedom, and for that I thank you.

Floyd Baseball, thank you for allowing me to grow up a Colonial. Growing up a Colonial I made brothers that I was never able to have without you. They taught me what it’s like to have an open mind. They showed me what it meant to play through the pain, and they taught me reliability. I watched my brothers show up countless times for me throughout the season, and I never got to thank them enough. So to my brothers, thank you. Thank you for showing up for cake on my birthday. Thank you for showing up to my grandmothers service. Thank you for accepting me for me. I love all of yall like we from the same bloodline, because we all bleed green together. Thank you for the memories we made, and the ride we took. Although the ride wasn’t what we thought it would be, I wouldn’t wanna do it with anyone other group of guys. FTN💚🤍

Bittersweet.
Thank you William Floyd Baseball, for all the memories, jokes, crash outs, hit by pitches, and lifelong brothers. Thank you to my parents for being at every game and being my biggest supporters. To my teammates, sharing the field with you guys has been a blessing and I will be forever grateful. These were the good old days and I’ll carry them with me forever. #ftn #onus
