Yes, that's me in the wig.

80s dodgeball. I committed to the outfit, and I didn't leave empty-handed. Proof is on the last slide.

Slide 2 is the same guy in a blazer, teaching AI. Both are me.

Halloween is this week, so I have to ask. What's the best costume you've worn to a work event?

What else can a loan officer bring to a real estate agent besides the loan?

The mortgage side should speak for itself. The bigger opportunity is finding other ways to help agents grow their business and bring that value into the relationship.

Who you get in the room matters.

Different events can bring together different groups and the people in that room can influence the conversations, the connections and what comes out of it.

At some point, another coffee meeting just isn’t going to get you in front of enough people.

One-on-one relationships still matter. But as your network grows, you can start looking at ways to reach more people and build those relationships differently.

What if your past clients aren’t saying no to real estate?

What if they’re just saying no to the question you’re asking?

What if your clients aren’t actually living in their ideal home?

Gavin says he’s finding that 70% of a client base isn’t.

We got into why that’s a conversation worth having with homeowners, especially when so many people assume their low mortgage rate means they’re never going to move.

Full episode is out now. Link in bio!

The people behind the process.

You don’t always see everything happening behind the scenes.

The calls, the strategy, the problem solving, the pivots, the constant communication… But you feel the difference when you have a team doing it right.

Teamwork doesn’t just happen in the office!

We stepped away from our desks and headed to Beat The Bomb for a little friendly competition, laser dodging, and a whole lot of fun!

Between working together to beat the challenges and trying to avoid getting covered in paint, we were reminded how important it is to connect outside of work, too.

We spend so much time working hard together, and making space to laugh, relax, and enjoy each other’s company is just as important. Strong teams are built through more than just hard work… they’re built through shared experiences!

And as for who beat the bomb and who ran out of time… we’ll let you guess!
