What a blast it was today at our homecoming game!! We were joined by many great alumni members of our sousaphone section, who we got to eat dinner with afterwards! (courtesy of mellow mushroom)

gavin pRater is the sousaphone section leader for the marching blazers, the treasurer for our chapter, and plays bassoon in concert band! majoring in management, gavin’s favorite pillar (although difficult to pick just one), is brotherhood: “the bond that we all share as a result of our love for band and everything it does for us compels us to do everything we can to optimize that experience for the program we serve.”

evan crawFord is a baritone section leader for the marching blazers and the sergeant at arms for our chapter! fun fact about him is that he doesn’t know how to ride a bike! majoring in music tech, evan’s favorite pillar is service: “i really like helping people and helping the band so that everything can run smoothly.”

mIa hernandez is a trombone row leader for the marching blazers and the alumni historian for our chapter (aka, the one running the instagram)! one of her favorite hobbies is working out with her friends and on occasion, her sister. majoring in biology, mia’s favorite pillar is service: “i enjoy helping others when they need someone to lean on. i always want to lend a helping hand and i get restless when i don’t or can’t.”
