It’s been a journey—6 years, 3 different schools. Each place brought new experiences and new people into my life. My football career may not have gone the way I wanted, but the Lord has blessed me with things far more important: family and friends.
These were the people I would fight tooth and nail for each game—the reason I had passion for the sport. So this is a long football post, and I’m not sure if it’s my last. But football has given me more than I ever could’ve imagined. A culture of lifelong friends and people who will drop their Sunday plans just to help fix my tire.
The people made me love this sport. They were the reason I wanted to win. Now I’ve got to win with my recovery.
Thank you for everything.
Jrock out for now ✌🏼❤️ (also @mjpcreatesllc and @a.j.storyteller for the pics wouldn’t let me tag any mo peeps)
