Checked off moving twins into college this weekend. With the help of family and friends, a stressful day was made so much easier. I’m beyond excited to see them in one of my favorite places on earth, and can’t wait to watch their next steps (and a football game or two). The “Empty Nest Club” just got two new members.

A few years ago, our house became “that house.” Maybe it was because we had boy/girl twins. Maybe it was because the parents are awesome. Either way, all of these kids became family. I can’t imagine what life will be like a week from now. All I know is all of these kids are amazing and have so much to look forward to. Cheers, “21!” Have the best time over the next 4 years!!

This picture means so much to me. Gavin, and 4 young men that have become family, took off on a northeast trip. A friendship made over 20 years ago in the classrooms of Beard Hall (and maybe a bar or two on Franklin and numerous golf courses) gave them a place to bunk for the night. They were able to repay with some sweat equity this morning before grabbing some swag, a cheesesteak and heading to Baltimore to catch the Phillies. Thanks, Andrew! Means more than you’ll ever know!

Always my favorite week of the year. We’ve had the pleasure of having Weston and Emme join us a few times and have loved every minute of it. The fall will be strange with them all being in different places but already looking forward to 2027!

Friends/neighbors…..My mom is staying with our animals while we are out of town. Our sweet girl, Gracie, hasn’t come home in a couple of days. If anyone sees or has seen her, please text/call me at 910.619.5655.

She’s a little skittish, but is very loving and loves dry food.
