@gavn has compiled a fabulous online resource called The South African Jewish Cookbook Project. Over the course of several years he tracked down and scanned forty 20th-century South African Jewish community cookbooks. They’re fully searchable and offer valuable insight into the lives of home cooks as well as their aspirations. Not to mention some great recipes. Take a look at the link in my bio: https://sajewishcookbooks.org.za #jewishfood #jewishcooking #communitycookbook #southafricanfood #cookbooks
