Life, lately. I’m almost never without a camera. And I take lots of photos of things that I like. Then I edit them, I export them, and I put them on a harddrive to never be seen again. I suppose it’s good to love the process, but it’s also nice to let these things see the world. So here are some shots from the last few weeks. September forever!!!

My Summer in the alpine

What a fun few months climbing mountains with some rad people. Racing took a bit of a backseat the year after some cancelations due to fires but it ended up being so nice to take a bit a break from structured training and tick off some routes I’ve been meaning to get to. Stoked to get out a bunch with Codi as well as we transition into a new stage in our lives. This is what being in the Sea to sky is all about and I am really lucky to share it with some good friends. Heres hoping we’re not done yet and we get a solid September!

the last days of sweet sweet Squamish summer

Yesterday was a bit unhinged. I woke up at 4am to photograph this mountain at sunrise from my paddle board (see previous post) and then hiked to its summit to watch the sun set on the longest day of the year. Despite the exhaustion, I’m so glad my pals were there to savour the last bit of sunlight and celebrate such a glorious life.

Sure, it’s a tournament. But really it’s just an excuse to mob a mountaintop with a few dozen of your best running buddies on a weeknight. Big thanks to @arcteryxbc for coming out and taking care of our community; wouldn’t be the same without them. Week one is still live, go get your time in!

July 1, 2024 // We moved in to our NEW HOUSE! I never thought I’d ever be able to say we own a house in Squamish, but now it’s official. Chris, Nootka and I are so excited to make this place our own and share it with friends and family. We are forever grateful to our wonderful friends helping us move yesterday, making the entire process stress free💛

2020 has been wild.

It hasn’t shaken out how anyone might have expected, but it hasn’t been all bad!

2020 was unable to stop me from working, running, playing soccer, sourdough baking, jam making, beer brewing, gardening, and cycling. It also hasn’t totally cut me off from friends, family, or community.

Cheers to the end of 2020, and here’s to whatever 2021 brings!
