I had the privilege of working on two very fun projects this month. Two very different sets, but two very different themes, but one common denominator. I got to work with people that I love on both. I’m so excited for both of these projects too be released into the world. First up, a music video for @missgoldiescott. Not only am I a fan of hers, but I’m also her very proud auntie and godmother. She just dropped her debut album this week so give her a follow and have a listen. The second project is the short film “Funeral Sandwich.” I got to reunite with two of my favorite people from my days at bang comedy theater, @gayedeebell and @frannicholsactor 💗And, the joy I felt from working on set with these two was off the charts. Feeling grateful and inspired. My happy place is truly on set, whether it be on a bluff overlooking Malibu or in a funeral home in Whittier. #actorforlife Shout out to: @sarahmwmakeup who did an incredible job as MUA for Goldie’s music video. Hire her ASAP!!

It’s been nearly 2 weeks since Sag’s strike ended. I’d edited this reel to post at the one week mark but then felt the celebratory nature may be inappropriate with all the convos around how good/not good the AI guardrails are in the new contract. Understandably those convos are still happening and will continue to until 12/5, Sag’s vote to ratify. But now it’s Thanksgiving week and I didn’t want to hold out on spreading GRATITUDE any longer!! THANK YOU to everyone who supported this strike - the negotiating committee, strike captains, food vendors, water donors, sign makers, fellow picketers… I’ve never felt more connected to my community & proud to be an actor during our months of picketing. #sagaftrastrong 💪🎉🍾
