This gold medal carries a story that not everyone knows. 🥇🇩🇿

This year tested me in ways I never expected. There were difficult moments, disappointing results, doubts, and battles that nobody could see.

I fell short of my expectations more than once. I questioned myself, but I never questioned my willingness to fight.

Because being a champion isn’t just about standing on top of the podium. It’s about finding the strength to keep going when things don’t go your way.

I knew how important these last races were. I knew what was at stake. And I promised myself that no matter what happened, I would give everything I had until the very last stroke.

Today, I stand here with another gold medal around my neck. But what makes me proud isn’t just the victory. It’s knowing that I didn’t give up on myself when things got difficult.

A special thank you to everyone who stood by me throughout this journey. To the entire federation team and the @miragelandmarkpromotion team, thank you for your support, your trust, and for giving me that extra push when I needed it most. Your encouragement means more than you know. This victory is also a reflection of the people who helped me keep moving forward. 🤝

10 years later… back where I belong. 💪🛶

Proud to win K2 Men’s 500m, an Olympic event at the 2026 African Canoe Sprint Championships!

After 10 years away from the African Championships, returning to international competition and representing Egypt once again makes this victory even more special. A journey filled with hard work, dedication, and a passion that never fades. ❤️🇪🇬

And even prouder to see Egypt finish at the top of the overall medal table, a fantastic achievement for my lovely team! 🫶

A huge thanks to the Egyptian Canoe Federation, my club Clube Náutico de Ponte de Lima, and Câmara Municipal de Loulé for their support, trust, and for making this journey possible.

This medal is more than a victory, a reminder to keep believing, and proof that the passion never dies. 🔥

My first trail run… and it was even tougher and more beautiful than I expected 🔥🏃‍♂️

The conditions were challenging, the terrain kept testing me every step of the way, but with every kilometer I found a new level of energy 💪
The best part? Along the course, you meet new runners who push you forward, encourage you, and remind you that you’re never alone 🤝

The fatigue was real, but the mindset was stronger.
And that’s the lesson: believe in yourself, even when it gets hard… especially when it gets hard. Keep going. You’re stronger than you think.

Incredible atmosphere, unforgettable experience…
And this is just the beginning
