📍Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Sometimes I just gotta sit back and really think about how far the Air Force has taken me. 🇺🇸

Growing up in the Philippines, waking up super early in the morning just to watch the NBA on TV, I never would’ve imagined that one day I’d get to experience moments like this, standing on the same court as the legends I grew up watching. The kid who used to watch these legends on a screen would’ve never believed where life would take him.

And honestly, that’s one of the things I’m most grateful for about my Air Force journey. It’s taken me places and given me opportunities that the younger version of me could’ve only dreamed of.

Never in a million years would I have thought that joining the Air Force would allow me to experience things like this.

Just a kid from the Philippines who loved basketball, now living out experiences I never thought were possible. Forever grateful for this journey and proud to wear this uniform. 🇵🇭🇺🇸🏀🫡

What A Life.

When the weather finally breaks and you’ve got a field ready to plant, the last thing you want is something pulling you away. Same goes for harvest when you’re racing to get the crops out before the weather turns.

I get it. Farming doesn’t run on a normal schedule, and your livelihood depends on getting things done when the time is right.

But have you ever thought about what the Iowa Air National Guard could offer you while you keep farming?

💰 Extra income throughout the year

🏥 Affordable health insurance options

🎓 College tuition assistance

🔧 Paid training and skills you can use outside the military

Serving part-time does come with military commitments, but it doesn’t mean you have to give up farming.

Here’s what I want to know: If you could make the Guard work around your farming career, would you consider joining?

Drop a 🚜 below or message me. I’d be happy to talk through what that could look like, especially during planting and harvest.
