GBGLilActive is a Southeast DC artist who’s made a real impact on the DMV rap scene with his raw energy and authentic street storytelling. Known for standout tracks like “Catch Me A 3,” “Last Diss,” and “Walkin Wit 50,” he quickly built a loyal following, racking up hundreds of thousands of views and streams. His music videos—often shot in Walker Mills and around Southeast—bring his lyrics to life with gritty visuals that capture the reality of his environment.

GBGLilActive’s catalog also features tracks like “DawgShit (drag),” “Standing On Business,” and “Tappin Dat Nugget,” all of which showcase his signature sound and drill-influenced style. With nearly 6,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a strong presence on YouTube, his influence in the DMV is undeniable.

Though he’s currently incarcerated, GBGLilActive’s music continues to resonate throughout the city and beyond. Fans and fellow artists still show love and keep his name alive, hoping for his return. His story is a testament to both his talent and the realities faced by many young artists in the DMV.

WALKER MILL & THE Z, STAND UP! #GBGLilActive’s (@gbglilact) “Last Diss” just hit a million views on YouTube! 😳📈 This is his first track to earn this many views! 👏🏾 He’s currently behind bars fighting a number of very serious charges but if/when he gets released, do you think that he’ll still have his buzz? 🤔
