I want to start this off by saying that just as I post my wins I will post my losses as well, I will never be the type to only shine light on the things that go right cause that’s just not how life is. I’ve never seen myself as a fighter with no losses no matter what my record ever was. I’ve taken many L’s in life and this definitely isn’t the first nor the last.
•
So, this time I came up short. I had an amazing camp, I did everything I could to prepare. For 6 weeks I prepared for a 5 round war against the best fighter I could’ve chosen who I’ve been bound to fight since 2021.
•
However, when I came back from the third round to my corner I come to find out the fight is over. I was down 2 rounds, still felt fresh and was ready to press on the gas some more for the last 2 rounds but there wasn’t anymore. It truly is disappointing, not to lose my undefeated record, not to lose in-front of my hometown, not even to lose in general. It is truly disappointing that I was under the impression, that I trained, prepared and prayed for something that was never there. It feels like I got something stolen from me, not a win, but an experience, an opportunity, and the banger fight that everyone came to see. It was a fun fight regardless and all respect is due to @seth.m.dardar and his great team and coaches, dude is a killer and he brought the energy that I always wanted from an opponent. Regardless of my awareness of the ruleset of the fight, the win was well deserved. @seth.m.dardar you’ve earned every right to say yes or no to this but I say let’s run that back in April for GCMMA for a 5 round banger.

Regardless of the situation I’m blessed for everything I have, my family, my beautiful wife, my sponsors, my team, and my amazing coaches. Though the situation I’m facing is rough I still have to thank God for all he’s done for me, the people around me, and what he’s doing in me. He’s shown me tremendous love and mercy that I could never repay so I have to give him all the glory in the ups and the downs. I still got to share the message of Jesus and that’s all I really wanted so I’m happy. Im ready to get back in there, Onto the next one. #jesusisking 🙏🏼
