Celebrating the holidays with extended family and friends can be tough. People who mean well ask dumb questions and say stupid things like... “What doctors have you seen?” “Have you gotten a 2nd opinion about the cause of your child’s delays?” “She’ll grow out of it.” Thankfully our family has gotten to a point where they don’t ask dumb questions or say stupid things. On Thanksgiving, we had about 40ppl over and our Juni was loved on, allowed to do her stimming/screaming without judgement, and even had a seizure...but things went back to normal and we went about our festivities. THIS is what I want for our daughter and I’m so thankful that my extended family is embracing our daughter as she is ❤️ Special thanks to my uncle @xfittrainingnyc for always taking care of her during our family functions 🤗
