What started as a hobby became a passion, a discipline, and a fire within me. I don’t just throw punches, I fight my limits, challenge my mind, and build a stronger version of myself with every round 🥊🔥

Every session with @georgeeid23 leaves me with the same feeling: my body is tired, but my mind is sharp. 🥊

It turns out there may be science behind it. Boxing trains footwork, balance, timing and reacting under pressure, which are exactly what Parkinson's wears down.

A 2025 review of 13 studies found real improvements in balance and mobility, and more than 80% of participants kept training.

Anne Carson started boxing in her seventies. This year she won the Nobel Prize. 🏆

The researchers say the evidence is promising but still early.

So is it therapy yet? Or are we not there yet? 👇

The hardest part of the fight starts before you ever step on the mat.

The pressure. The doubts. The adrenaline. The voice telling you to overthink everything.

The challenge is learning to control all of it — breathe, stay present, trust yourself , and let your body do what it already knows.

Once you control your mind, the fight becomes yours. 🥋🔥

Another challenge faced. Another win earned. 🏆

We came from the same streets and the bond only got stronger over the years.
Beyond being one of Lebanon’s greatest fighters @georgeeid23 was right there for every moment of this camp. From opening his gym to standing in my corner, he backed me all the way to a historic win in Lebanon’s first official pro boxing bout.
We’ve always had each other’s backs and we both know that bond is solid for life ⚔️
