Gumbo Tips:
1. Cook everything in the same pot and don’t pour out or clean after cooking each ingredient. Keep ALL dat flavor in the pot.
2. Make a good chocolate Roux and using fresh ingredients from the Holy Trinity is the foundation for Gumbo.
3. Do not just add water. Use some Seafood or Chicken Stock. You want that flavorrrrrr!
4. If adding okra, bake it first and drizzle oil and vinegar to reduce the slime
