📽 A special message at the end. 🙏

💫✨️ 2️⃣5️⃣ years of bombing Broadway!! ✨️💫

Start: 116th St. & Riverside Drive
End: Charging Bull, Wall St. 🐂 🏁

Disclaimer: This is not the most exciting reel, but for me, it's about the "𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀," the styles, and the shared adrenaline experience. 🎉

Always good to see and make new friends in the skate community from all over. Skaters from as far as New Zealand come to NYC for this 8.4-mile, guerrilla, urban skating event! It's a "can't miss" event for me. ❤️🤗❤️

✏️ Mark your calendar for the 3rd Saturday in October!

From the BX to Lower Manhattan, they call him the Ghost.

Maybe because he pops up on you anywhere and everywhere, or maybe because when he rolls out, he murders these streets.

Well-respected by many in the community, when you see this man—or if you see the Ghost—salute.

Wisdom is the connection between one generation and the next. Knowledge is the observing of an experience with the intellect to question what the eye sees without judgment. To become wise is to constantly learn from the young and the grown, never shutting the mind, but constantly becoming a vessel of this world.

Game recognize game. Gee politicking with the O-Gee.

Wednesday nights belong to the streets. 🗽🛼🌃

NYC after dark hits different when the whole crew is rolling. Concrete, city lights, traffic, music, and nothing but wheels underneath us.

This is Wednesday Night Skate.

Y’all saw me crying about The Death of #ShakeemaDavis and jumped on the bandwagon so fast and then mistreated me every step along the way even try to beat me up on the bridge to isolate me because you guys have your own agenda. Yall agenda is so thick that since last year Big Apple Roll, I suddenly cannot even tag Wednesday night Skate in any of my posts 4No reason. Yet I’m loyal to all of the events. I have so many receipts of years of abuse that you damn right at#Somebody find him right now and let him know it’s up. Leave Devon alone cuz First of ALL. I NEVER go ahead of the group. Secondly, we’re going up the hill at full power. It’s not my fault that he can’t keep up and he’s trying to lead off of clout? Idk , but if he doesn’t have what it takes and THE WORLD KNOWS I am one of the most talented skaters in the international community of #streetskaters. I support this #WednesdaynightSkate tuesdayNightSkate MondayNightSkate and all of the Community Skates. Of course there’s gonna be personal issues and not everybody’s going to like me, frankly, I don’t even like everybody. but what I don’t do is go around bullying and lying. They take my kindness and my silence as weakness. When these social leaders don’t like me they try to alienate and smear campaign by telling everybody I have a problem and that I’m crazy and lie on my body but the bully is going to stop today cuz now I’m the villain.Nobody’s gonna stop me from coming out. Nobody’s going to do anything to me cause I don’t bother nobody, but I will always defend myself. And the streets don’t belong to you either! Ask the Public! Don’t ask your little friends, your little drug alcoholic circle and those under your control, ask the PUBLIC! THEY KNOW YOU! And anybody in the right mind knows that Devon does not deserve this treatment. So try your alienation tactics and your smear campaigns somewhere else because I can stomach the truth. Throw whatever you got. no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I have more receipts, but we’re gonna start with proving that this whole thing for Sha’Keema was fake Because look at how they treated me knowing I was a huge part of the collective effort to bring awareness.

Sha'Keema "Keema" R. Davis should still be here.

She skated with us. She told me herself, on camera, why she skates. She was one of ours — and she was taken.

Her mother, Ms. Pegues, asked for one thing:

"Represent her come, come in skates, let everyone know my baby was apart of something she loved."

"Please let other skaters know she would be so happy to see you skaters there."

— Ms. Adra Lotus Pegues, Keema’s mother @lotus_phenominal_woman_i_am

So this Sunday we roll — four miles up 8th Avenue, in black, on wheels, together.

Not only to bury her. To say her name in the street where people can see us.

PROTECT OUR WOMEN is not a caption. It's a practice.
It's who gets walked home.
It's who steps in instead of filming.
It's who checks on her the next day.
It's who's still standing there when the posts stop.

Keema is why. She should be at the roll on Sunday, not the reason for it.

🖤 WEAR BLACK

📍 Red Steps — Times Square, 47th & Broadway
⏰ Gather 10:30 AM
🛼 Roll out 11:00 AM SHARP
🕊️ Service 12:00 PM — Unity Funeral Chapels, 2352 Eighth Avenue, Harlem

Slow pace, every level, nobody left behind. Can't roll? Meet us at the chapel. Didn't know her? Come anyway.

Share this with every NYC skater you know. Tag the people who knew her.
