Afterparty post:

When we first toured the venue I told them I wanted our afterparty tucked away back in the woods. They suggested a campfire, light music, lounge chairs, blankets, and s’mores. How quaint.

This was a first for Grange Valley, hosting such a production at their glamping sites. We had a total of 3 generators to power the lights, DJ both, and fog machine. I learned a lot about voltage and power requirements. @its.sherrypoppins blew the top off that tent, powered by @mrjayessex spinning all our favorites.

Brett and I love to go camping at The Woods lgbt+ campground in the Poconos, and I wanted to recreate the magic of walking out to Triangle Field at the end of the night and seeing all the lights out in the distance tucked in the trees. Iykyk.

I think it’s safe to say we accomplished that vision, but maybe brought it down to a raunchy-enough “R-Rating”, complete with spontaneous matrimonial lap dances, to the cheering of our friends.

I also wanted to pull in some of the Poconos history with those famous red heart-shaped bathtubs and sleezy mirrored fuzzy beds designed to attract couples to the region in the 70’s, making it Life magazine’s “Honeymoon Capitol of the World” at one point. It’s safe to say that red inflatable kiddie pool out in the woods got a lot of play.

Other photos by @zachlaks and @jessenorth , @geejaygee12, and some by me.

Thank you to @justinbuyes , @looshie_ @lilprolem17 @jakerobz for doing the lions share of setup. Thank you @seanpaulhogan and @lindsayebarnett for picking up drinks for us.
